Terms of sale

These terms of sale govern the sales made by Merkatiko SRL (société à responsabilité limitée (SRL) de droit belge, registered office Pegasuslaan 5, 1831 Machelen, Belgique, company number BE 0744.730.564, VAT BE 0744.730.564) through the site centastra.com. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

Product

Centastra offers a print-on-demand book, personalised from the birth data provided by the customer (date, time and place). The content is calculated with ephemerides and composed for a century. A digital version is included with every book, delivered by email as soon as the order is confirmed.

Prices

Prices are shown per currency according to the region, including taxes where applicable. Each currency has its own price: there is no automatic conversion. Shipping costs and times are shown before payment.

Order and payment

Payment is made online via Stripe, a secure payment provider. The order is confirmed after the payment is accepted. A summary of the birth data is shown before payment: it is the customer's responsibility to check it, as the book is calculated on this exact data.

Production and delivery

The book is printed and bound to order through our network of printers (printed on the customer's continent where possible), then shipped with tracking. Indicative times are shown per region at the time of ordering. Each copy is unique and produced specifically for the customer.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(c)), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. As the book is calculated and printed to order, it cannot be returned or refunded once the order is confirmed.

In return, each order stays editable (first name, date, time and place of birth, dedication) for a 2-hour window after payment, via the link in the confirmation email, as long as printing has not started.

Guarantee

Any printing or binding defect, or any damage in transit, entitles the customer to a reprint and reshipment free of charge, on report within a reasonable time after receipt, with photos. The digital version remains accessible in the meantime.

Liability and nature of the product

The book presents calculated astronomical dates and seasons; it does not constitute a prediction, nor medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and no decision should be made on that basis.
